Yeah. I've been reeeally busy lately. I got mah new dollie, but sadly, there are no acceptable pictures because my husband has pwnt our good camera. I have a rinky dink little Hello Kitty camera, but it doesn't take a decent shot. Not even if its life was on the line. With any luck, we'll have a new one by next week.

Now, onto the dollie. There's quite a bit of backstory to him. At least his character at any rate. His name is Vantos Ornsjach, and he is a Shadow Dragon. He used to be master of a vast land on the shadow plane, with a lone village full of his worshippers. Though his species of dragon are normally chaotic evil, he chose to deviate from the norm and be fair, benevolent, and rule his lands with a firm and just hand.

However, one day an evil dragon attacked his lone village, and, not willing to lose any of his followers, he fought for them. Needless to say, he lost terribly when he crashed on top of the temple where the entire township fled to hide, destroying the temple completely and in one fell swoop, ending the lives of the entire village.

It turns out that the dragon who attacked his lands was a demigod, and a terrible one at that. For daring to fight him, the demigod dragon stripped Vantos of his lands, his treasure hoard, his mate, and his hatchlings, then sentenced him to a penitence of sorts. As punishment, the demigod decreed that Vantos would lose his ability to speak, and would act as guardian "angel" to a human, in the human realms, until such a time that the soul had ended its reincarnation cycle in Earth. He assigned a lesser dragon, a golden Radiant Dragon named Tiiam to speak for him and sent him off to the human realms. God, however, was none too chuffed about this and upon Vantos's arrival in the human realms, collected him and assigned him to a soul at the beginning of its first year who had proven to be difficult to give guidance to. He also lessened his silence punishment by making it so that Vantos could speak while in his human form. And so, he became my guardian through a long time and process of reincarnation and death.
